Milan Gurung, founder of One Step Together born on 13 November 1991 in Changunarayan, Bhaktapur, is a dedicated social activist and community leader with a strong commitment to humanitarian service and youth empowerment. From 2012 to 2016, he was involved in trekking and outdoor activities, experiences that helped shape his leadership, teamwork, and resilience.

From 2017 to 2024, Mr. Gurung actively worked in social service and humanitarian initiatives. He also served as a social activist at First Ray of Hope Nepal, a nonprofit organization supporting orphaned and vulnerable children. His close involvement with children and communities strengthened his passion for creating opportunities and bringing positive change to people's lives.

With years of experience and a vision for meaningful community action, Mr. Gurung founded One Step Together in 2025. The organization works to support children and vulnerable communities, encourage youth participation, and promote collective humanitarian action. His guiding belief is simple: “When we take one step together, a child takes one step closer to a better future.”
